Parsons Awarded Task Order for Potential $11.7M Navy Cyber Contract
Centreville, Va., Nov. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) has been awarded its first task order under a potential $710 Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, multiple award contract. The contract was originally announced by NIWC Pacific in May 2019.

The contract covers professional technical and management support services to establish and maintain cyberspace operations and enable product lines, programs, and projects to include interoperability of systems, services, and capabilities at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. This potential $11.7 million task order for Advanced Video Activity Analytics (AVAA) includes a one-year base award valued at $2.2 million and four potential one-year option awards.
AVAA is Parsons' server-based capability that integrates computer vision analytics from disparate sources into a single processing pipeline, selects the best solutions from across the artificial intelligence/machine learning domain, and combines them into a single solution.
