Parker Introduces Cloud-Based and High-Strain Sensors at 2016 Sensors Expo

Debuts Two New Products at McEnery Convention Center, San Jose, CA - Booth #424

Golden Valley, Minn. - The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), continues to open new doors for technological innovation. Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technology, is bringing its latest contributions to the condition monitoring sensors market. These new products will be on display at the 2016 Sensors Expo at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA.

On June 22 and 23, Parker will introduce new solutions to expo attendees at Booth #424: SensoNODE Gold sensors, SCOUT Cloud software, and the SensoNODE High-Strain Sensor.

SensoNODE Gold is the latest addition to the SensoNODE family, and pushes the limits of monitoring the condition of your assets farther than ever before. As a Cloud-based wireless condition monitoring solution, your asset health is readily available anywhere you have an Internet signal. And with the new SCOUT Cloud software downloaded on your mobile device, you can have that information in the palm of your hand whether you're on the plant floor, aboard a flight, or meeting with clients overseas.

Parker representatives will be on-hand to demonstrate the versatility of SensoNODE Gold sensors and SCOUT Cloud software, as well as SensoNODE Blue sensors and SCOUT Mobile software - Parker's Bluetooth-powered condition monitoring solution that's perfect for on-site asset condition monitoring and diagnostics.

Also on display, Parker-s new SensoNODE High-Strain Sensor, featuring electroactive polymer technology (EAP). Energy-efficient, lightweight, conformable and durable, SensoNODE High-Strain is made with a stretchable polymer that can take accurate measurements and readings while being strained over 100% for millions of cycles. This technology is creating new innovative possibilities for industrial, medical and wearable applications.

Industrial: Elastomer joints and seals, conveyer systems, hydraulic accumulators, linear actuators, mechanical effectors, pneumatic cylinders

Medical: Physical rehabilitation, monitoring vital functions, gauging motion

Wearables: Sports, fitness, training, gaming

Be sure to stop by Booth #424 for a chance to speak with a Parker representative about how these solutions can benefit your business or application.
