Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (September 29, 2006)-The high quality, ultra-low pressure PROLP rupture disk will be Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co., Inc.'s (Oseco) featured product at the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) Expo October 17-19 in Houston.
The PROLP rupture disk operates in very low pressure vessels, where equipment operating costs are key considerations. It has a fully opening, perimeter-scored design which utilizes Oseco's unique computerized load cell technology. Because of advances in scoring accuracy and precision, this highly specialized disk is well-suited for most gas, vapor or liquid low pressure applications. High quality and a high operating ratio of 95% protect the safety of plant personnel by relieving pressure before it reaches potentially dangerous proportions, reduces damage to equipment, and minimizes process downtime. The disk also provides environmental protection by preventing fugitive emissions to the atmosphere when used as relief valve isolation.
In addition to the PROLP disk, Oseco's full line of precision rupture disks, rupture panels and sensors will be on display at booth #1849. Visitors to the booth may register to win a DVD player.
