Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (August 30, 2005)-Leading rupture disk manufacturer, Oklahoma Safety Equipment Co., Inc. (Oseco), will feature its Pro+ disk at the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) Expo October 25-27 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Pro+ high performance disk functions at very high operating ratios for use in liquid or gas services in the agricultural/bulk powder, aerospace, chemical, gas, petroleum, pharmaceutical and power industries. A 95% operating ratio guards against fatigue and premature disk rupture in applications with high operating to set ratios. The one-piece, fully opening perimeter scored design has scoring on the vent side, providing a smooth surface to the process and preventing product buildup.
This disk is particularly well-suited for relief valve isolation; by installing the non-fragmenting PRO+ between the process media and the valve, the valve is protected and fugitive emissions to the atmosphere are prevented. The Pro+ performs consistently in both high and low pressure environments with burst pressure options ranging from 8 to 750psig, and is available in a variety of materials and diameters.
In addition to the PRO+ disk, Oseco's full line of precision rupture disks, rupture panels and sensors will be on display at booth 862. Visitors to the booth may register to win a DVD player.
