Torrance, CA — ORIENTAL MOTOR USA CORP
Hollow rotary actuators are now even easier to use.
Oriental Motor is pleased to announce the introduction of our newest hollow rotary actuator, the DGII Series. The DGII Series hollow rotary actuator now utilizes the highly efficient and energy saving AR Series closed loop motor for the hollow rotary actuator. High accuracy positioning can be performed while keeping the user-friendly features intact.
In addition to the pulse input type package, a highly functional built-in controller (stored data) type package with I/O, Modbus or EtherCAT (via a gateway converter) communications is also available. Both types come with a 3m (9.8 ft.) cable included. The DGII Series also offers new, attractive pricing making the DGII Series even more easy to use. Additional advantages include reduced power consumption and heat output with this new motor and the large diameter hollow hole (through-hole) helps to reduce the complexity of wiring and piping, thus simplifying your equipment design.
The DGII Series is available in 60 mm (2.36 in.), 85 mm (3.35 in.), 130 mm (5.12 in.) and 200 mm (7.87 in.) frame sizes with a maximum torque of 50 N·m (440 lb-in) and is able to handle up to 400 N (900 lbs) of permissible thrust load and high moment loading due to it’s rigid construction.
The DGII Series’ key features are:
• Built-in controller (stored data type) or pulse input type driver
• Closed Loop
• High efficiency and energy saving
• High accuracy and quick positioning
• High torque and high rigidity
• Continuous operation due to low heat generation
