Organizational Change at Pneumatic Scale Reflects Continued Market Leadership

AKRON, Ohio - May 22, 2006 - Robert H. Chapman, chairman and CEO of Barry-Wehmiller
Companies, Inc., has announced an organizational reporting change with respect to William Morgan, president of Barry-Wehmiller subsidiary Pneumatic Scale.
In recognition of Morgan's strong leadership skills in building improved market performance and a unique corporate culture at Ohio-based Pneumatic Scale, his reporting relationship has been redefined so that he now reports directly to Chapman. This change aligns Morgan's position with that of Barry-Wehmiller's other divisional presidents.

Morgan joined Pneumatic Scale in 1990 as director of sales administration and, in 1997,
became vice president of operations. He was promoted to president in November 2000. UnderMorgan's leadership, Pneumatic Scale has established an industry-leading performance record in customer service while introducing a broad range of new high-speed filling and closure equipment that reaffirms its market position.
