Optima Offers Multi-Bay Options for Cabinet Enclosures

Tucker, GA Aug 24, 2009 -- Optima EPS, an Elma Company, and leading designer and manufacturer of cabinet enclosures for electronic systems, offers cabinet enclosures in multi-bay configuration options.

Cabinet enclosures can be configured where multiple bays of the enclosure are connected side-by-side. Many telecom, networking, broadcast, and other enclosure applications have 2 to 4 bay or higher designs to fit a large amount of equipment. There are also options for vertically stacking low or medium-height enclosures.

Optima offers multi-bay solutions in industrial, seismic, EMC, data center, and other designs. Several options can be employed to reinforce the frame. This includes incorporating welded corner members with gussets, double-walled extrusions, cross- bracing, and more. Optima cabinets are constructed with a modular extruded aluminum frame, providing a strong and low-weight platform that is customizable. Paint, powder-coating and silk screening services are available in various colors.

Sizes for the Optima multi-bay cabinets come in 12U to 44U heights and widths of 19", 23", and 24". The depths range from 24", 30", 36" and 42". Other sizes are available upon request.

Optima also offers a line of single and multi-bay communications consoles. For more information, visit www.optimaeps.com, www.elma.com, or call 770-496-4000.
