Oneda Corp. Hosts Robotics Team for MFG Day Event

Oneda Corp., Columbus, GA, hosted Team FTC 19917 Hardaway Robotics for a plant tour on October 26, during which the students saw advanced manufacturing, viewed technologies used in robotic automation, and were introduced to Oneda’s tool and die apprentice program. A recipient of a $1,000 PMA Educational Foundation MFG Day grant, Oneda provided funding for the Hardaway Robotics team to purchase robot supplies and build materials for its 2021 competition season. The company also provided a mentor to help train the students in safety, engineering and design, and to assist with assembly of the robot. The team won two of six competitions at its first event on November 6, an outstanding start for the rookie team!
