Omnikey Hires Regional Sales Director for the Americas

Irvine, CA (July 26, 2005) OMNIKEY, one of the world´s leading manufacturers of smart card readers, is pleased to announce that Patrick Comiskey has joined OMNIKEY Americas as regional sales director. Patrick will focus on growing and supporting OMNIKEY's reseller, VAR, and distribution partner base in the Americas.

Most recently, Patrick was regional sales manager for ACG Identification Technologies, where he was responsible for sales and support of the ACG Identification Technologies' product line in the United States. Previous experience included sales management positions at Sidetran GmbH and Amatech USA. His experience with a wide range of microprocessor and memory products and RFID readers will allow Patrick to offer OMNIKEY customers a great deal of expertise across the dynamic smart card arena.
