OMAX® Corporation Named to 2008 Inc. 5000 List

Annual List Ranks America's 5,000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Kent, Washington, October 29, 2008 - OMAX® Corporation today announced its placement
on the 2008 Inc. 5000 list. Regarded as the most comprehensive look at the entrepreneurial
engine that drives the U.S. economy, the annual list recognizes and ranks the country's 5,000
fastest-growing private companies.

The Inc. 5000 is an expansion of the Inc. 500, a list introduced by the small business magazine in
1982. The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period, and
companies must be independent, privately held and based in the United States to qualify for
selection.

OMAX boosted revenues from $25.3 million in 2004 to $62.7 million in 2007 for a 147%
revenue growth and a place in the top 50% of companies on the list. The Seattle-based
corporation also ranked in the top 35% of all manufacturing companies, who accounted for 8.1%
of the total 5000. As the leading manufacturer of precision abrasive waterjet systems, OMAX
revolutionized the waterjet industry in 1993 by being the first company to offer affordable, ultraprecise
abrasive waterjet technology for the general manufacturing environment.

The 2008 Inc. 5000 companies reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion and median three-year
growth of 147%. The companies have also been engines of job growth, creating more than
826,033 jobs since they were founded.
