Oklahoma Names Tyler Technologies to Master Agreement for School Information Systems

Preferred vendor status eases school districts’ RFP process for SIS software

PLANO, Texas — The state of Oklahoma, Office of Management and Enterprise Services, has named Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) as a preferred vendor for its Tyler SIS school information system. Oklahoma school districts can purchase Tyler SIS at a negotiated rate from the state contract without conducting their own request for proposal (RFP) process.

"Tyler views school districts as an integrated enterprise, thus our solutions effectively meet the needs and requirements of administrators, teachers, parents and students - all backed by Tyler’s leadership position as the nation’s largest provider of software to the public sector," said Chris Hepburn, president of Tyler’s School Division. " We look forward to partnering with Oklahoma school districts to aid in their success."

Tyler has provided solutions for the management of student data for 34 years and has more than 1,000 SIS installations in 30 states. Oklahoma school districts will benefit from Tyler’s expertise in this area of operations.

More than 20 school districts in Oklahoma are Tyler clients using various solutions, including Versatrans® transportation management, Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Infinite Visions® financial and personnel management for schools. When Tyler SIS is installed along with these solutions, districts gain additional cost savings and are able to access consolidated information in a quick and consumable format.
