Nylok Names Rick Kuyat Operations Manager for Michigan Plant


Nylok Corporation, a worldwide leader in the design and production of value-added coatings for fastener products, has announced the appointment of Rick A. Kuyat as Operations Manager for its processing facility in Macomb, Michigan.

The announcement was made by Nylok President Max F. Dorflinger, who said Mr. Kuyat brings considerable experience and a record of success in operations, quality and customer service to the position.

Mr. Kuyat joined Nylok in February 2005 as Plant Manager in Macomb after serving 18 years in various semi-conductor manufacturing positions. He is a graduate from Devry University with a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology.

As Operations Manager at Macomb, Mr. Kuyat will have manufacturing responsibilities for the extensive line of Nylok fastener products, including its self-locking NYLOK® TRUE BLUE® nylon patch; BLUE® NYLON TORQ-PATCH® for locknuts; PRECOTE® adhesives for sealing and locking; NYCOTE®, a fluorocarbon WHITE® TEFLON® PFA powder coating that masks threads. Also, NYTEMP®, a high-temperature resistant locking element; NYSEAL®, a fused sealing element; NYTORQ® brand lubricant, and NYSTAY®, a temporary locating patch for threaded and unthreaded fasteners.
