Nx(TM) App from Hubbell Building Automation on Itunes App Store

Austin, Texas -

Hubbell Building Automation has announced that the free NX™ Room Setup Tool smart phone app is now available on the iTunes App Store. Hubbell Building Automation is a provider of occupancy sensors and lighting controls with a strong commitment to innovation.

The app was already available for Android™ devices from the Google Play Store. Now both iOS® and Android phones and tablets can be used to set up NX Room Controllers via Bluetooth® radio. Using the app, Hubbell Building Automation's NX Distributed Control system offers maximum flexibility for wireless set up.

The Room Setup App works in conjunction with the NXBTR Bluetooth radio module plugged into a NXRC Room Controller. Automatic discovery allows the App to display all the NXBTR radios and Room Controllers in range along with all connected NX devices such as Occupancy Sensors, Digital Smart Switches, and Daylight Sensors. An intuitive five-bar signal strength indicator aids in determining the appropriate room.
