Northwire's Quality Platform Manager, Craig Nelson, Recognized with ASQ Certification


OSCEOLA, Wis.-Northwire, Inc., Technical Cable, an innovative solutions provider, announces that Craig Nelson, its quality platform manager, has been named a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). This certification reflects Northwire's global initiative for every professional to be certified to two international and/or national standards. Nelson's achievement demonstrates a level of proficiency and comprehension of quality management principles and practices that are critical to ensuring service excellence and enhanced focus on the customer throughout every facet of the organization

Nelson joined Northwire in 2004 and provides enterprise quality leadership and strategic direction for Northwire operations in Osceola, Wisconsin, and Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Nelson is also Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the Association for Operations Management (APICS) and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls

The American Society for Quality is a professional association with more than 85,000 members. Established in 1946, the ASQ is a global community of authorities on quality and the sole administrator of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program Award since 1991.
