North Carolina Wesleyan College Selects Jenzabar
ERP, Web Portal and LMS Solutions will replace existing legacy systems.
Boston, MA - July 23, 2007 - Jenzabar®, Inc. (www.jenzabar.net), a leading provider of software, services and strategies for higher education, today announced that North Carolina Wesleyan College has licensed a flagship Jenzabar ERP system, along with Jenzabar's award-winning campus portal and learning management system, to optimize their administrative and online learning processes and strengthen their campus community. North Carolina Wesleyan College selected Jenzabar's enterprise solutions to replace its longstanding Datatel and CampusCruiser systems.
North Carolina Wesleyan will move to Jenzabar EX, a Microsoft® SQL Server-based enterprise solution, to manage administrative data and processes in place of Datatel Colleague, its administrative system for the past 14 years. By switching to Jenzabar's software, the college will now have an up-to-date solution that delivers the latest technology and enables IT to better support users through a more complete and easy-to-use reporting environment, with lower maintenance costs.
On the academic side, Jenzabar's Learning Management System, Jenzabar LMS, will replace CampusCruiser as the school's learning platform. Jenzabar's Internet Campus Solution (JICS) will provide convenient Web-based access to Jenzabar's integrated administrative and academic solutions anytime and anywhere for authorized users, along with communication tools that fully support the learning environment. JICS was awarded the Software Information Industry Association's 2006 CODiE Award as the Best Postsecondary Educational Portal. The Jenzabar portal was recognized for extending the campus community to all constituents, delivering positive online experiences to prospects, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.

We took a long hard look at the numbers and the cost savings by moving to Jenzabar was considerable. For ongoing maintenance cost, we will recognize a forty percent savings using Jenzabar."
