Jun 29, 2012 - NEMA's Electroindustry Business Confidence Index (EBCI) for current North American conditions dropped to 52.4 in June and has retreated 20+ points since reaching post-recession high in February. However, index continues to indicate economic environment conducive to industry growth as it has for each of last 9 months. EBCI for future North American conditions also lowered in June, falling nearly 14 points to 57.1. One-third of panelists expected conditions to improve over next 6 months.
