Norheat Presentation at the Clemson Brick Forum

“Energy saving and emission reduction technologies”

WATERDOWN, Ontario September 17, 2018 Tom Norris - President and Director of Norheat Inc. in the US, and President and Director of Norheat Treatment Inc. in Canada - will be making a presentation at the upcoming Clemson Brick Forum, in Anderson SC from Oct 1st to Oct 3rd 2018.

Backed by results achieved at various industrial refractory installations, the presentation titled, “Energy saving and emission reduction technologies”, focuses on how ITC (International Technical Ceramics, LLC) products continue to outperform long after the initial investment has been recovered.

Norris said, “When it comes to ITC products – performance is the difference.” He said, “ITC ceramics are not just another refractory coating. They are unique. When applied correctly, not only do they protect the refractory walls and ceilings, but they have a proprietary heat reflective property that significantly saves on the cost of fuel, which in turn ultimately benefits the environment.”

When ITC products are applied to the surfaces of kilns and furnaces, savings stem from three areas –

  1. Saving dues to less frequent maintenance.
  2. Saving from faster start-up times and hence, faster production cycles.
  3. Saving due to reduced energy costs.

Norheat Inc. (since 2017) is now the main distributor and installer of ITC products in the US, and Norheat Treatment Inc. (since 2005) is the Canadian distributor and installer of ITC products in Canada.
