Nilpeter and SCREEN to Host ‘DIGITAL DAYS’ Open House, June 13, Showcasing The Combined Flexo-Digital Expertise of The Two Companies’ New Partnership
Cincinnati, Ohio — Nilpeter USA and SCREEN Americas, partnering to provide label and packaging converters with leading edge print/finishing solutions, are hosting an invitation-only open house for converters in Nilpeter’s Technology Center at its Cincinnati campus on June 13, 2019.
DIGITAL DAYS will afford attendees the opportunity to see the foundation of the Nilpeter-SCREEN partnership’s True Hybrid Flexo-digital solution, PANORAMA, in action. Featuring Nilpeter FLEXO and converting solutions with a SCREEN digital inkjet label print engine, the Panorama line is available in Hybrid Digital, Standalone and Full Converting configurations.
The label/packaging solutions partnership between SCREEN and Nilpeter was announced last month in support of the production, sales and service of the PANORAMA digital label printing platform in North America.
Nilpeter and SCREEN experts will reveal how “True Hybrid” inline production differs from conventional Flexo/near-line converting. “The fully integrated, purpose-designed, highly engineered solution represented by the PANORAMA True Hybrid lineup stands in sharp contrast to aggregated, add-on component options that truly cannot achieve the seamless production needed in today’s converting environment,” said Paul Teachout, Nilpeter USA’s Vice President Sales & Marketing.
Presentations across integral production processes from Order Entry to Prepress and Color Management to Effects and Decoration to Printing and Full Converting, will be delivered by vendor partners, One Vision, Color Logic, Refine Finishing and Techkon. One Vision is the maker of Label Automation Suite for end-to-end workflow automation; Color Logic is known for its metallic and decorative special effects for print; REFINE Finishing offers simple modular converting and finishing for digital label production and Techkon specializes in Color Measurement, Quality Assurance and Ink Formulation.
The event welcomes attendees the morning of Thursday, June 13, with presentations and demonstrations from the Nilpeter-SCREEN partnership and vendor partners throughout the day plus a short program by Cincinnati State University’s Workforce Development Center on job training, recruitment, internships and related opportunities in support of progressive employers. A market trends & insight report by NAPCO Media and a tour of the state-of –the-art Nilpeter USA facilities are also planned.
