New VP/General Manager Named for Bosch Rexroth Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies Group


New Vice President and General Manager Erwin Wieckowski brings a proven record of sales and leadership experience to oversee all facets of the Bosch Rexroth Corporation Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies Group in the United States.

(Charlotte, NC - www.boschrexroth-us.com) Bosch Rexroth Corporation, the drive and control company, recently appointed Erwin Wieckowski as vice president and general manager for its Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies Group.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Wieckowski will be responsible for all of Rexroth's linear motion and assembly products and technology in the United States, including aluminum structural framing, Ball Rail systems, ball screws, flexible conveyors, linear motion systems, manual production systems, and other key product lines.

Wieckowski most recently served a dual role with Bosch Rexroth Canada where he was general manager of the company's automation business unit, and national sales and marketing director. As the general manager, he held responsibility for application engineering, light manufacturing, logistics, product support, service, repair and quality. As sales and marketing director, Wieckowski oversaw the sales operation while implementing customer service programs and a variety of training and development programs that contributed to overall sales growth.

Wieckowski began his career as a plant engineer, later becoming an application engineer and Total Quality Management (TQM) coordinator before moving into product and sales management roles.

A member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Wieckowski has degrees in Applied Science and Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario (Canada).
