New Sloan Valve Company Brochure Outlines Key Features Of Sf-Series Electronic Hand-Washing Faucets

RANKLIN PARK, IL - Sloan Valve Company has introduced several new water-saving SF-Series electronic hand-washing faucets, which automatically deliver either tempered or hot/cold water on demand.

A new four-color brochure describes the pedestal mount models for hospitality, commercial and other applications, as well as the gooseneck styles, appropriate for settings such as healthcare, restaurants and laboratories.

The chrome-plated brass faucets operate by means of an infrared sensor. When the user enters the sensor's effective range, the solenoid activates the water flow. The faucet automatically shuts off when the user steps away. This prevents recontamination from touching a handle to turn off water after washing. Electronic faucets also conserve more water and require less maintenance than mechanical metering devices.

The ADA-compliant faucets operate with either a 6 VDC plug-in transformer with battery back-up or are battery powered. Other options include a below deck mechanical mixing valve for tempered water or a Bak-Chek® Tee fitting for hot/cold water mix.

Sloan Valve Company, the world's leading manufacturer of water-conserving plumbing systems, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2006. Headquartered in Franklin Park, Illinois, the company manufactures plumbing products and accessories for commercial, industrial, and institutional markets worldwide.
