New Operations Manager Announcement from Stainless Steel Services

Accompanying our most successful Quarter in Stainless Steel Services history, we are very pleased to announce the recent addition of Scott Whitebread to our company and his installation as Operations Manager. Scott brings a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a noteworthy career in leading several large scale manufacturing operations in the US and overseas. Equally important, Scott embodies the spirit of Stainless Steel Services with his leadership approach of patience, and determined customer advocacy.

Scott has already proven himself as a genuine leader and motivator of his team. We are fortunate to have Scott lead our production team and believe that his skills and will be a significant asset in the development of advanced processes and procedures moving forward. Scotts extensive experience with the application of Quality Assurance programs, KanBan, Kaizen and 5S disciplines is anticipated to anchor planned future growth in the next 24 months. About Stainless Steel Services:

Stainless Steel Services was founded in 1976 by its current owner, Rick Stewart. At the time, Rick's family was operating a 4th generation steel fabrication business that was serving the nuclear power industry. When a requirement surfaced for polished reactor pool liners. At the Perry Project in Perry, Ohio, the fabricator could not find a polisher to meet the stringent requirements of the job, as well as the unique fabricating sequences that were required. As a result, Stainless Steel Services was founded to meet these exacting polishing requirements. From its inception, Stainless Steel Services developed a standard for surface excellence and quality standards meant to satisfy the requirements of the nuclear power industry. These standards are carried forward today and form the foundation upon which the company's quality program is based.In 2003, Stainless Steel Services upgraded its equipment and increased staff to better meet the wide varieties of stainless polishing assignments being sent to them. The result? A renewed dedication to a single objective: Be the premiere North American source for stainless steel polishing. The entire SSS team determined that the company's true mission was to support the success of their customers, whether they were involved in supporting the sale of stainless material or assisting in the successful completion of a fabrication project.
