New Miller Website Examines Welding's Real Answers, Real Results

oResults-driven resources provide answers to welding issues
oWebsite went live November 13, 2005

APPLETON, Wis., November 16, 2005-Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has developed a new online resource to help manufacturers, fabricators and those in the construction industry identify and solve welding-related key business issues, such as reducing welding costs, increasing productivity and operator efficiency and justifying new equipment acquisitions. The new mini-Website went live November 13 at MillerWelds.com/results.

"The new Website examines welding's 'Real Issues, Real Answers,'" said Terri Barry, Miller public relations manager, echoing the theme of the new Website. "Through technical articles, the Viewpoint blog (web log) and article summaries of actual case studies, we present results-driven information that we hope will prompt readers to approach their key business issues in ways they may not have considered before.

"For instance, to increase productivity and reduce welding costs, you often have to look outside of the welding cell to pre- and post-weld operations. Would different technology reduce the number of hours necessary to grind spatter or fix welds? Is there a way to eliminate reworking welds? How does one justify acquiring new equipment? Those are just some of the real issues the website addresses."

"The new Website looks beyond the arc to the larger concerns of those in the manufacturing, fabricating and construction industries," adds Vickie Rhiner, Miller marketing communications manager. "To remain competitive, any successful business has to continually reexamine its core issues and seek innovative answers. The new Website helps provide those answers. "

"We expect this new addition to MillerWelds.com to be a valuable resource for those involved in welding-related industries. We will continue to update the summaries and add technical articles of interest. Welding experts will contribute articles of interest to the Viewpoint blog on a regular basis and encourage participation from visitors. Readers will find reason to return often," adds Barry.
