Bostik Flooring Group Names Tim Martinho Hardwood Products Territory Manager for Northern California, Nevada and Arizona
MIDDLETON, MASS. (NOV., 2006) - The Bostik Flooring Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Martinho, a 14-year Bostik veteran, to the position of Hardwood Products Territory Manager - Northern California, Nevada and Arizona.
Martinho joined the Bostik Flooring Group in 1992 as Ceramic Products Territory Manager for Northern California. A few years later, he took on responsibility for Nevada as well.
"While Tim Martinho certainly knows our ceramic products and distributors inside and out, he has always taken an interest in all of Bostik's floor-covering installation solutions," said Rick Tredwell, Bostik Flooring Group's Western Region Sales Manager. "On occasion, Tim has even delivered short seminars on hardwood products to a ceramic distributor he served that was considering adding hardwood coverings to its tile and stone line-up."
Martinho graduated in 1986 from St. Mary's College of California in Moraga with a bachelor of science degree in industrial psychology. He worked from 1986-1992 for Eurocal Slate Centers in Concord, Calif., first serving as a sales representative and then as branch manager, before coming to Bostik.
"I bleed Bostik blue, as they say," Martinho said. "Bostik is No. 1 in everything it does, so I knew that while I wanted to diversify and expand my flooring product knowledge and industry relationships, I also knew all along that there would be no better place to accomplish this than to stick and grow with Bostik and our ever-expanding family of distributors."
