New Cost Calculator Compares Kaivac AutoVac System with Autoscrubbers
Tool Compares Annual Costs of Equipment, Service and Repair, and Labor
Hamilton, OH – April 5, 2021 - Just in time for the reopening of schools, offices, and other commercial facilities, Kaivac, developers of the No-Touch Cleaning® system, introduces a new online cost calculator comparing the Kaivac AutoVac system with traditional automatic scrubbers.
The cost calculator is designed to compare not only the purchasing costs of the two systems, but also the cost to own them over the long-term.
"All too often, purchasers of cleaning equipment are just focused on the sticker price of a machine," says Matt Morrison with Kaivac.
"However, most cleaning equipment is designed to last several years. It is important to look beyond the price tag and determine if there are long-term benefits and cost savings to the purchase."
The calculator guides users through a four-step calculation process.
Step one allows buyers to select from one of Kaivac’s AutoVac systems and compare them against several types of autoscrubbers. This step focuses on the initial costs of each system.
Step two investigates service and repair costs, and step three calculates labor costs based on the buyer’s input.
The fourth and final step is the results page. Information is presented in graphs and includes the following:
- Annual operating costs of the two systems.
- Productivity rates based on ISSA Cleaning Times
- Anticipated pad replacement and maintenance costs.
- Total annual and lifetime costs.
