New Compounds for Flexible Medical Cables Pass ISO 10993 Testing

This addition includes silicone rubber and thermoplastic polyurethane compounds that have passed cytotoxicity (ISO 10993-5) as well as irritation and sensitization (ISO 10993-10) testing.

Silicone rubber offers the device-friendly combination of biocompatibility, flexibility, autoclavability and thermal stability, while this unique polyurethane compound presents a lightweight, flexible, durable material with a satin-matte finish. Both materials are RoHS and REACH compliant; phthalate, PVC and latex free.
