New CNC Vertical Machining Center Coming this Summer!
Tri-State Fabricators has a new machine coming to our manufacturing facility in Amelia, Ohio this summer. We are getting a Mazak VTC-200c vertical machining center to use with our current machining center for additional capacity. This new machining center has a 40-taper spindle with a full traveling column design and fixed tables, which allows for longer and heavier workpieces. It has a standard 12,000-rpm CAT 40-taper spindle. The center also has very quick traverse rates which cuts down on non-cut times. The traverse rate for the machining center is 1,181 ipm. It has a 24-tool storage capacity and an automatic tool changer.
This machining center will support our state-of-the-art metal fabrication and finishing facility. Our warehouse has 125,000 square feet under one roof, and we strive to house some of the latest metal fabrication technology and finishing equipment that is available on the market. Even though technology is important to us, it would not be possible without the dedicated team of men and women that make our company successful.
