NEMA Revises Electric Lamps Standard regarding SSL chromaticity.

This revision to originally developed 2011 standard adds specifications for nominal CCT values of 2200K and 2500K and justifies move from MacAdam ellipses to quadrangles.

NEMA Publishes ANSI C78.377-2015 American National Standard for Electric Lamps Specifications for the Chromaticity of Solid State Lighting (SSL) Products

ANSI C78.377 was originally developed in 2011 by the ANSI Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) C78 for Electric Lamps. In this revision, the specifications for nominal correlated color temperature values of 2200 K and 2500 K have been added. This standard also justifies the move from MacAdam ellipses to quadrangles.
