NEMA Reaffirms ANSI C78.379-2006 American National Standard for Electric Lamps - Classification of the Beam Patterns of Reflector Lamps



ROSSLYN, Va., —The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) reaffirmed ANSI C78.379-2006 American National Standard for Electric Lamps—Classification of the Beam Patterns of Reflector Lamps. This standard describes a system for classification of beam patterns and beam angles of reflector lamps. A method of describing light output also is defined.



ANSI C78.379 was developed by the Accredited Standards Committee for Electric Lamps.



ANSI C78.379-2006 (R2015) may be downloaded at no charge or purchased in hard copy for $54 on the NEMA website.
