NEMA Publishes NEMA FU 1-2012 Low Voltage Cartridge Fuses

ROSSLYN, Va.—The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) published NEMA FU 1-2012 Low Voltage Cartridge.

Covering eight classes of low voltage cartridge fuses, NEMA FU 1 examines fuses of a current-responsive element inside a fuse body with contacts on both ends. These fuses are rated 600 volts or less, alternating current, and direct current. The eight classes of fuses covered are G, H, J, K, L, R, T, and CC. Updates include direct current tests for photovoltaic fuses.

NEMA FU 1-2012 may be viewed at no cost or purchased in a hard copy for $82 on the NEMA website.
