NEMA Publishes ANSI/NEMA C29.5-2015 American National Standard for Wet-Process Porcelain Insulators - Low- and Medium-Voltage Types

ANSI/NEMA C29.5 was first published in 1961 by the ASA Accredited Standards Committee C29 on insulators for electric power lines and the NEMA 8HV committee on high-voltage insulators. This standard is used by electric power utility companies, public utilities, and manufacturers of high-voltage electrical products. In this revision, changes have been made to the sampling sizes, glaze and color requirements, units of measurement, and marking and packing requirements.
