NEMA Congratulates Newly Appointed NIST Staff
ROSSLYN, Va.—The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) welcomes the appointments of Dr. Chris Greer and Dr. David Wollman to the posts of Director and Deputy Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Smart Grid and Cyber-Physical Systems Program Office, pending approval by the Department of Commerce and Office of Personnel Management.
“We’ve worked with Dave for a long time between the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel and NIST’s Federal Advisory Committee,” said NEMA President and CEO Evan R. Gaddis. “I’m looking forward to working with Dr. Greer who brings a well-qualified fresh perspective to the table.”
Greer will also hold the title of National Coordinator for Smart Grid Interoperability, replacing Dr. George Arnold who was promoted to director of NIST’s Standards Coordination Office.
