NCEE Partners with NMEP for Local Economic Growth


LINCOLN, NEB (December 21, 2010) Nebraska Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE) has just established a partnership with the Nebraska Manufacturers Extension Partnership (NMEP). The NMEP is a state organization under the Nebraska Department of Economic Development that focuses on connecting manufacturers with services provided by its' partners; facilitating growth for all participants.

As an NMEP service providing partner, NCEE Labs will be able to reach out to more manufacturers in the state to assist them in realizing testing solutions. Both organizations share a common mission, helping spur growth for local companies, making their cooperation a natural fit. "NCEE is excited by the mission of NMEP and looks forward to partnering to facilitate further growth within our own community", said NCEE General Manager Doug Kramer. Businesses can find out how to participate by contacting the NMEP or by asking an NMEP partner about the program. The service providing partners include: Nebraska Business Development Center, UNL Food Processing Center, Nebraska Central Community College and Nebraska Center for Excellence in Electronics (NCEE).
