National Band & Tag Company Acquires Hasco Tag Company
Newport, KYÂ - National Band and Tag Company, a family owned manufacturer of identification band and tags, has acquired Hasco Tag Company of Dayton, KY as of May 9, 2016. Starting Wednesday May 11, 2016, all correspondence will be redirected from Hasco Tag’s facility to National Band Tag’s facility in Newport. National Band & Tag offers a line of products that are similar, if not identical, to the Hasco Tag product line because both companies began with the same founding father in 1902.
The purchase of Hasco Tag will not only increase National Band & Tag’s shares in the identification market, but unite the two companies into one as they originally were. “We are extremely grateful that we have been able to acquire Hasco, not only for our family, but for the company as we strive to be the #1 choice for identification bands and tags” said Faye Wendel, president of National Band & Tag.
National Band & Tag Company manufactures products for various industries including, but not limited to: Poultry, Cattle, Lab Animal Research, Dog & Cat Licenses and Rabies Vaccination Tags, Wildlife Conservation, Plants & Trees and Industrial Applications. They also specialize in: custom stamping, sequential numbering, custom numbering, logos, laser etching, and bar coding. The 4th and 5th generation family members and staff are eager to serve all the Hasco customers as they have their own for the past 114 years.
