National Adhesives Flyer Highlights Corrugating Finishing Adhesives for Added Value

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, January 28, 2008 - National Adhesives has published an
informative flyer featuring finishing adhesives for corrugating. The flyer
provides insights on how National's adhesives add value in four specific
applications:
Glued lap applications: Available in resin-based emulsion or hot melt form,
National's ULTRA-SET® adhesives support economical operation and deliver
strong bonds in putting the finishing touch on corrugated boxes. Their long
open time and unique re-tack feature allows blanks left in the rails during
stoppages to be glued effectively on restart, reducing waste and increasing
productivity. Yet, fast set speeds ensure consistent bonds even at higher
line speeds.
"Dual Arch"applications: For box strength beyond starch-based adhesives,
National offers resin adhesives specifically for manufacturing "dual arch"
corrugated board. These resins provide quick bonding and consistent
laminating of multi-layer mediums with no loss of corrugator speed.
Bulk box applications: Designed to run efficiently on all extrusion or wheel
applications, National's adhesives combine strength and long open time in bulk
box laminating. The available re-tack feature handles the long open time
cycle involved in most bulk box laminating.
Litho laminating applications: For finishing touches on corrugated materials
such as packaging and point-of-purchase displays, National provides customized
solutions in several categories of paper-to-paper, paper-to-board, and board-
to-board laminating. Unique technologies, including National's AEROBOND® foam
bonding adhesive and equipment solutions, raise quality while lowering overall
costs.
