Nassco Inc. announced the acquisition of Messner Inc. of
Madison, WI.
Messner Inc. began in 1941as the Refrigeration Equipment Co. In 1959 the company changed its name to Messner Inc. becoming a well-recognized family business in the distribution of janitorial and building maintenance supplies in Wisconsin.
Nassco, founded in 1955, is a third generation family business providing janitorial and packaging supplies throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. In addition, Nassco provides service and repair of janitorial equipment, laundry and ware wash systems and packaging equipment. "Messner brings an excellent track record in serving customers and providing value. This merger will allow us to continue the expansion of our product offering, services and presence throughout Wisconsin. We are very excited with this opportunity and welcome the Messner team to Nassco," said Mark Melzer, the president of Nassco Inc.
Nassco will continue to operate the Messner branch out of its current facility at 1326 E. Washington Avenue.
