Multivac Names Mark Douglas Director of Service Operations
Kansas City, MO - (November 17, 2005) - Multivac, Inc. today announces that Mark Douglas has been appointed to the post of Director of Service Operations. In his new position, Mr. Douglas will oversee the continuing growth and development of the company's entire service and parts business, which has evolved substantially in recent years to keep pace with Multivac's record North American sales. He will report directly to Michel Defenbau, president of Multivac, Inc.

Mr. Douglas comes to Multivac from Industrial Dynamics Company, where he has worked for the past 13 years in positions including director of worldwide field service, director of operations and, most recently, managing director of the company's North American business unit. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland.
