MTN's Kevin McCarthy to Speak at iDirect Global Partner Summit


MIRAMAR, Fla., March 29, 2011 - MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), the global provider of communications, connectivity, and content services to remote locations around the world, today announced that its Senior Vice President of Network Engineering, Kevin McCarthy, will participate in a roundtable discussion during iDirect's Global Partner Summit in Barcelona, Spain on April 4-7, 2011. During this session, Mr. McCarthy and other iDirect customers will share real-world examples of their success leveraging the iDirect Evolution platform.

COMSYS' Simon Bull, iDirect's
customers will discuss their
companies' use of the iDirect
Evolution platform and the impact it
has had on their businesses.
Specifically, the conversation will
highlight the technical efficiencies
gained and the value-added services
they offer with the iDirect platform.
In addition, the panelists will also
share the cost savings and bandwidth
improvements they experienced.


As Senior Vice President of Network
Engineering for MTN, Kevin McCarthy
is responsible for the design,
management and support of MTN's
global VSAT satellite network. Since
joining the company in 1999, Mr.
McCarthy has successfully led MTN
through several major technology
upgrades, increasing the performance
and capabilities of its network.
Prior to MTN, he worked as a Senior
Network Engineer for EDS, now HP. Mr.
McCarthy holds a B.A. from Johns
Hopkins University, a Master's in
Computer Information Systems from the
University of Miami and a Master's in
Finance from Florida International
