Motion Sensors, Inc. Has Received ISO 9001:2008 Registration
Motion Sensors, Inc. recently announced that their Quality Management System has been registered as ISO 9001:2008 compliant. Registration was granted for compliance with quality process standards and effective quality management systems in the design and manufacture of speed sensors. ISO 9001 quality assurance standards require the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased documentation, and adjustment to operating systems in every level of the manufacturing process. The standard applies to industries involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of products. The 2008 version was released in November 2008.
Motion Sensors, Inc. has provided speed sensors for severe and demanding environments since its inception in 1970. Its speed sensor technologies include variable reluctance sensors, hall effect sensors, RF (eddy current) sensors, magnetoresistive sensors, and amplified sensors that combine the preamplifier within the speed sensor housing.
