Motion Industries Announces the Acquisition of Voorhies Supply Co., L.L.C.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Dec. 7, 2005--Motion Industries, Inc., North America's leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Voorhies Supply Co., L.L.C., a Louisiana supplier of industrial parts and supplies.
Voorhies Supply Co., L.L.C. has been privately held and operated since 1949. The company, known as Voorhies Supply Company, and Standard Supply and Hardware, has served the industrial marketplace through eight locations in Louisiana.
