Montalvo Expands with New Electrical Engineer
Gorham, ME, USA – Montalvo, international specialists in web tension control, welcomes Richard Smart as their new Electrical Engineer. Mr. Smart expands Montalvo’s highly skilled and experienced team of mechanical and electrical engineers and primary responsibilities include new software development, product support and technical expertise in the field.
Director of Engineering, Chris Osgood says “Richard brings a fresh perspective to our engineering team. He is a dynamic and capable engineer with a proven track record and will be a key asset in expanding the capability and functionality of our entire product line. Adding his talents to the Montalvo team will increase our ability to innovate, and set the stage for our next generation of products”.
Mr. Smart joins Montalvo from Fairchild Semiconductor where he worked as an Electrical Engineer and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine.
