Independence, KS – Molded Fiber Glass Construction Products (MFG CP) recently completed a pan form job for the University of Chicago in Illinois. The University began construction September 2011 for the William Eckhardt Research building. The new research building will house the universities engineering and science divisions when complete in February 2015. The 265,000 square foot building has been designed with clean rooms, laboratories, a café, and faculty and research offices. There is additional space for meetings and seminars. Our pan forms are being used to complete a dramatic concrete suspended ceiling a high end laboratory.
Our pan/waffle forms are used all over the country in museums, schools, transit stations, libraries, office buildings, parking garages, manufacturing facilities and convention centers. The pan forms are lightweight making it easy to move them around a construction site; additionally they are very rigid making them completely reusable. “It’s been a couple years since we worked on a University project, it was nice to get back to the education industry,” said Joe Kusiak, Sales Manager. Mary Skukisz from Tribco Construction said “when the pan forms got to the construction site the product looked great, the forms were very smooth.”
