Modernistic Receives SGIA Sustainability Recognition Award for Seventh Consecutive Year

Stillwater, MN - Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) member company MODERNISTIC was recently honored with their seventh consecutive SGIA Sustainability Recognition Award. MODERNISTIC continues to distinguish itself as a leader of sustainable business practices by being the only printer in the world to receive this distinction for seven consecutive years.
Each company was asked to outline the 2015 sustainability project they had undertaken. Modernistic Inc. has reduced their overall electricity kilowatt hours by 9%
This process change reduces the environmental footprint by lowering our electricity usage and helping decrease carbon dioxide emissions. In addition to the decreased usage come significant environmental benefits, as Modernistic drastically reduces the amount of harmful, greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere.
MODERNISTIC first received certification from the Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership in 2009, and is currently only one of a few screen and digital large format printers in the nation with this distinction.
