Braga, Portugal, October 6th, 2005 - From now on, customers of leading Portuguese mobile operator TMN won't lose touch when their mobile phone gets lost, damaged or stolen. TMN has launched "TMN Backup", a commercial mobile phone backup service, to TMN's five million customers, among a massive advertising campaign. MobiComp's MobileKeeper(TM) solution was selected to power the new service.
MobiComp's MobileKeeper(TM) is the most comprehensive "over the air" mobile backup solution in the market. It's a client-server product that enables operators to guarantee subscribers the automatic safekeeping, updating and restoring of growing volumes of valuable information, contents and applications stored on mobile phones. The comprehensive "over the air" backup and restore solution for mobile devices allows storage, updating and recovery of contacts, calendar, tasks, SMS, MMS, ring tones, images, videos, J2ME applications and more. The application and storage space can be managed by the user on the device or on the Internet.

MobileKeeper(TM), a Series 60 "Application of the Week", Symbian Signed and Java Verified, is a unique client-server platform that secures end-user mobile information and contents in a convenient and accessible way, working also as extended storage - virtual drive - for the mobile device. MobileKeeper main functions include:
- Keep It (replicates all/defined information),
- Get It (recovers all/part of stored data),
