Milltronics Hosts Distributor Conference
Milltronics concluded August with a dynamic distributor conference/training session immediately followed by a customer open house. Nearly every distributor from all over the world was represented at the two-day conference.
Tim Rashleger, Chief Product Officer, and Benji Rashleger, Director of Operations, spoke the first morning about exciting new changes taking place, including a two-year warranty, guaranteed trade values, international financing, far-reaching commercial efforts including an entirely new website, and much more. The sales group spent another day on product introduction and training which included a new HM20 low cost horizontal machining center, large twin table bridge mill, new 12" slant bed lathe, new Centurion 8 CNC in development, and other new products and accessories.
This was the first time that Milltronics distributors could shake hands with the new owners, Liberty Diversified Industries, LDI. Mike Fiterman, President and CEO, presented the local high school with a new machining center for their new industrial classroom and also initiated an annual scholarship, the Rashleger Scholarship, for a student who goes on to pursue a career in our industry. In an interesting twist to encourage female students in a male-dominated industry, Mike Fiterman agreed to double the amount of the scholarship if the selected student is female.
The customer open house that followed was equally successful and gave Milltronics its highest sales month ever. Milltronics demonstrated its continuing commitment to US manufacturing and has major plans for expansion already in place. LDI plans to triple the Milltronics sales in three to five years.
