Miller Ups Ante for Kurt Busch's First Race in Miller Lite Car

Miller to Fans: "When Kurt Wins, You Could Win"

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Miller Brewing Company announced today that it will kick off Kurt Busch's inaugural season at the wheel of the #2 Miller Lite Dodge by giving legal-drinking-age fans a chance to win a year's supply of Miller Lite when Busch and his team pull into victory lane after Sunday's 500-miler in Daytona Beach, Fla.

"Kurt's the perfect guy to take us into this new era of Miller Lite Racing because he shares our passion for winning," said Erv Frederick, Miller's vice president of Miller Trademark marketing. "We wanted to give race fans across the country a chance to share in our excitement. What better way to celebrate 'more success' on the track than with a year's supply of the light beer with 'more taste,' Miller Lite?"

Legal drinking age consumers can register to win the "When Kurt Wins, You Could Win" sweepstakes online at www.millerbeer.com/ until 11:59 a.m. (Eastern) Sunday, Feb. 19. If Busch takes the checkered flag in Daytona Beach, then 500 randomly selected registered fans will win the equivalent of a year's supply of Miller Lite. (See the official contest rules online.)

One of NASCAR's hottest young drivers and the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup series champion, Busch will be racing in his sixth Daytona 500, in which he has twice finished in second place (2003 and 2005).

"I was already psyched to take the green flag Sunday and get going in my first race in that famed Miller Lite car," Busch said. "But now, knowing I can help 500 fans win big also, I can't wait to get out on the track. I know the folks in Milwaukee have the big copper brew kettles ready to roll."

About Miller Brewing Company:
As one of America's oldest brewers, Miller Brewing Company continues the commitment of founder Frederick J. Miller to brew 'confoundedly good beers' with 'uncompromising quality.' Through more than 150 years of innovation and brewing excellence, Miller has built a broad portfolio of award-winning beers that represents approximately 18% of the U.S. market share. Its brand portfolio is led by Miller Lite, the great tasting, less filling beer that created the American light beer segment in 1975. The company also brews smooth, golden rich Miller Genuine Draft using a unique cold-filtering process Miller introduced in 1985. Miller's oldest brew is Miller High Life, the champagne of beers. Miller imports Peroni Nastro Azzuro, Pilsner Urquell and Foster's and brews regional craft beers Leinenkugel's and Henry Weinhard's. Near-premium beers include Milwaukee's Best Light, Olde English 800, Mickey's Malt Liquor, Icehouse and Sharp's, a non-alcohol brew. Miller is a wholly owned subsidiary of SABMiller plc, the world's second largest brewer. For more information, visit www.millerbrewing.com/ .
