MichBio Announces Talent Search Tool for Members



ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 20 // -- MichBio, the statewide trade association for Michigan's life sciences industry, announced a new BioConnections online talent search tool called Talent Bank Plus, for the exclusive use of MichBio members. Using a unique ID and password, each MichBio member organization can log onto a specially designed Talent Bank Plus website. They can search the entire resume pool, find the resumes of specific people, and search for resumes using specific keywords.

"MichBio is committed to helping our members recruit and develop a dynamic workforce, which is critical to their success as well as to the vitality of the Michigan life sciences industry," said Stephen Rapundalo, MichBio executive director. "In addition to serving our members, we hope the BioConnections program will assist displaced Pfizer employees locate Michigan- based jobs over the coming months."

Individuals enter and maintain resumes online. From the BioConnections page of the MichBio website, job seekers can enter their resume or be directed to job postings in Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo and other Michigan cities.

Talent Bank Plus is the result of collaboration between MichBio, Ann Arbor SPARK and netXert Inc. of Ann Arbor and is powered by PeoplePlus human capital software published by netXert.
