(HARTFORD, Conn.) - Mfg4 2016, an event dedicated to showcasing aerospace, defense and medical device manufacturing, returns to the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut, from May 3-5. Mfg4, produced by SME, provides opportunities for companies and attendees to learn about products and business strategies that work well in their own and other industries, as well as to discover solutions to specific company challenges.

The manufacturing industry is tremendously important to the region, with more than 4,000 manufacturing companies in Connecticut - and more than 160,000 employees. Manufacturers in Connecticut account for 10.7 percent of the total output in the state, employing 9.5 percent of the state's workforce.
