Methods To Distribute Hwacheon Machine Tools
SUDBURY, MA - Methods Machine Tools is now authorized to distribute Hwacheon CNC machine tools, including vertical machining centers, turning centers, and vertical lathes, through its direct sales offices in the United States and Canada. The marketing partnership between Methods and Hwacheon Machinery America Inc. was announced and launched at the 2006 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in early September.
Methods Board Chairman Scott McIver proclaimed the sale "a leg up for both Hwacheon and Methods." Emphasizing the Korean manufacturer's high level of technology, he said, "Now we can offer our customers an even more comprehensive range of CNC turning centers. In addition to a wide variety of competitive features, the Cutex and Hi-Tech machines have chucks from 6" to 25". Also included in the agreement were Hwacheon's vertical turning centers with chucks from 6" to 18" as well as vertical machining centers.
