METCASE Custom Manufactures Supersize COMBIMET Enclosures
METCASE is manufacturing its bestselling COMBIMET 19” rack mount enclosures in ever deeper and larger custom sizes.
Latest custom orders for COMBIMET have included 31.50” deep (1U to 8U) versions that offer significantly more space than the 10.43” and 14.37” deep standard cases.
METCASE has also custom manufactured a non-rack (non-19”) version of COMBIMET – 19.68” x 31.50” x 7.87” – for an application that involved ceiling-mounted electronics. Thus demonstrating the versatility of this enclosure design.
Standard COMBIMET is a 19” rack mounted enclosure for networking and communications, industrial control, sound and studio systems and laboratory instrumentation.
It has become a bestseller for METCASE, prompting the launch of open top and other versions.
All COMBIMET enclosures offer complete access to the PCBs: the top, base and rear panels are removable. The top and base can be specified as either vented or unvented.
Features include ergonomic front panel handles plus mounting holes for PCBs and chassis. There are M4 earth studs on all components for electrical continuity.
COMBIMET aluminum enclosures are available as standard from 1U to 6U in either light gray (RAL 7035) or black (RAL 9005). Cases are supplied fully assembled. Prices start at $116 for the standard models.
Accessories include a PCB mounting kit; 19” mounting kits in black or light gray and two aluminum mounting plates (13.19” x 9.06” x 0.06” and 13.19” x 12.99” x 0.06”).
Customizing options include custom sizes and front panels; CNC punching, folding, milling, drilling and tapping; fixings and inserts; painting and finishing, digital printing of legends and logos; bespoke enclosures.
