Metcal to Host 'Keys to Rework Workshop' in the Dominican Republic


GARDEN GROVE, CA – Metcal today announced that it will host its popular ‘Keys to Rework Workshop’ in the Dominican Republic next month. The workshop is scheduled to take place Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Santo Domingo, D.R. The ‘Keys to Rework Workshop’ will provide tips to unlocking the challenges of rework.



The workshop will include multimedia presentations, hands-on demonstrations and instruction as well as a QA session to conclude. Applications and topics include rework approaches for PoP, QFN, QFP, 0201, LED and PTH. Additionally, Metcal will present new soldering techniques and proper tip care.



“This is the first time in many years that we have had the opportunity to do a presentation in the Dominican Republic,” said Ed Zamborksy, Regional Sales Manager for Metcal. “Our rep that covers the area, David Lynch, and I are expecting a great turn-out in Santo Domingo.
